Buildings that encourage the use of renewable energy resources 3. There must be an effective legislation for the use of building materials Green building is about creating environmental conditions that are better for the planet and for its inhabitant. Green building can be defined as the design and construction of buildings that fulfill the legal and aesthetic requirements of social, environmental, economic, and energy imperatives, simultaneously. This is especially due to the increasing concern of the citizens to avoid the adverse effect of the built environment. Therefore, green building allows the achieving of sustainable housing and businesses, and even to economy growth and prosperity. To allow the achievement of these characteristics, a green building takes environmental benefits into account through the following measures: 1. The integration of the energy efficiency and performance of the building 2. Measures to conserve heat and energy resources 3. The use of renewable energy resources and these alternative sources are the most common and perhaps the most powerful tools to accomplish such purposes. 4. Energy efficiency and use of energy 5. Technical and environmental research and development as well as knowledge of green building science, and 6. Design, development and construction. Basically, the green building is suitable for sustainable development. After this, this building is not only sustainably designed, but also sustainably constructed. In other words, it is feasible to achieve sustainable development and building with green building. Therefore, one should maintain the economy and building sustainability side by side to achieve the possibility of sustainable living. This is the purpose of the green building.
